Perhaps a little known fact for people that don't live in Salt Lake City...there are very few places one can use a snorkel, fins, and mask. Since its pretty much a desert that's not real surprising, however one third of the city's name consists of a large body of water. No I'm not advocating snorkeling or even swimming in the Great Salt Lake, what I'm talking about here is the big crater up in Midway (about 45 minutes from salt lake city). Finally I got to use the fins and mask I've been storing in the basement ever since I moved to Salt Lake (although I could have just rented some). It was just like snorkeling in the bath tub when I was little except a little bit bigger and a little bit deeper, you had to wear a nice yellow vest, and my sister wasn't next to me making a warm spot.http://www.homesteadresort.com/the_crater/the_crater.cfm

You're still sOoOOo handsome even with goggles and a funny life vest ...but do you really need to own your own flippers? The basement is like your own personal time capsule.
Yes, my time capsule.
For reals. I'm not kidding.
