Right now you're probably saying to yourself "Woah! A picture with the Sphinx! When were you in Egypt Mr. Peters?" Ha I tricked you! If you enlarge the picture and look real closely you may notice that the face on this sphinx looks slightly different than the face on the one in Egypt. Look closely now. Ahhhh now do you see the difference? And with a sphinx comes a new riddle...just how did the face of Joseph Smith end up on this Sphinx in Salt Lake City? My guess is old Joe probably found the statue with the reformed Egyptian golden plates. Just my guess.

The Riddle of the Sphinx.
