Today I said goodbye to the Shure Vocal Master. I've had this six channel PA system since I was 14 or so. Apparently it was priced to move as it sold within 15 minutes of posting. By the time the buyer came over I had 2 others wanting to buy. The guy bought it for his teenage son who plays guitar and just started putting a band together with his buddies. Brought back old memories.
May the Vocal Master bring the new owner as much fun as it brought me over the years.
Permanent Damage in their prime.

I need an opening act for my next world tour. Is Permanent Damage available? Sincerely Bono/U2
Hm, Scott. You must be nesting, huh?
Unfortunately Permanent Damage has disbanded years ago and is unavailable for touring. However, I've know of a few Permanent Damage cover bands in Japan that may be available to help out U2.
As for the nesting...yes trying to make some additional room in the nest. Not much space with all my crap that I've accumulated over the years. I definitely have a nesting problem.
Ahh, the Shure Vocal Master, good times at Turquiose and Hillsden pads. Thanks again for the 3yr loan, hopefully, the new owner will carry the head horizontally and never store it on its side. What's next?! The mic stand, the Crate 600w amp, and Mike's old drum set???
Classic Punk rock right out of suburbia! Damn, those were good times.
Wow, I remember that PA well. I sold Mark's bass on ebay to a guy in Japan about 2 months ago for like $600.
