Car Gender

It seems that when people name their cars they tend to give them feminine (i.e. girl) names. But how do they really know if their car is male or female? I learned this weekend one sure way to determine the car's gender is to look for a wiener, thus signifying you have a male car.
Looks like this mini van's a boy!
