The Smallest and the Tallest.

I think the title says it all.

Center Ring and the Side Show!

Am I more of a Ringmaster or a Bearded Lady? Guess you could say I'm somewhere in between.

Where's the Camera?

I didn't think my dad put down his camera once during the whole wedding festivities. I guess I was wrong cuz I don't see a camera in either hand in this picture.

Welcome to the Greatest Wedding in August!

Nine foot tall Ringmaster Officiants, Rev Gagne has that market cornered. But say, whos that shady looking character in the background? Secret service perhaps?

Hey Look, It's Keith!

So if you had a keen eye and good a good seat at the Greatest Wedding in August you may have noticed a menacing looking individual standing behind the Ringmaster. A bouncer perhaps? A wedding crasher maybe? No no no, that was Keith. So why was Keith back there? Couldn't Keith find a seat out front like everyone else? Actually Keith stepped up to provide additional support throughout the ceremony. Keith was strategically located and tasked to break the Ringmaster's fall should he waiver and take an accidental step backwards and tumble down the hill behind him. Fortunately, Keith's fall breaking skills were not required during the ceremony.
Nice job Keith! Way to be there for the reverend.

Hey, that popcorn machine is spotless!

So when you borrow a popcorn machine for a weekend no strings attached, there really are some hidden strings attached. For us these strings came in the form of cleaning. Because we truly cared about our wedding guests well being, several hours went into scouring the popcorn machine. Thanks Dave. Thanks Carol. Thanks Steve. And I'm proud to report, that not a single guest got sick on popcorn at the wedding. I can't say the same for the liquor. As seen here, Becca passes final judgement on the popcorn machine cleanliness. Spotless! And much thanks to Bryan for hijacking the popcorn machine from his place of employment for the week. I'm told people were walking into each other like zombies at his work all week going through some sort of popcorn withdrawl. Unfortunately i don't have a picture of that to post. Unfortunately.

The Reverend in Action

The Ringmaster Reverend making final edits to the Big Show. Top notch delivery Reverend Gagne, Top Notch!

Confusion Among the Ranks

A little pre-ceremony identity crisis. Apparently there was some confusion on who's who among the ranks of the Groomsmen. To clarify, Chester you're on the left, Toby you're on the right.

The Perfect Entrance

The creating the perfect grand entrance takes lots of practice. Shots from the seldom seen rehearsal luncheon document just how good at showboating the wedding party players were!

At Random

It's almost been one year since I asked Becca if she'd take my last name at "At Random" in Milwaukee Wisconsin over a grasshopper and pink squirrel. (sorry, I couldn't convince her to share the Tikki Love Bowl) For those of you that haven't been there for a delicious specialty drink, you must go next time you find yourself in Milwaukee. It's not real easy to find so here's a picture so you don't drive past it. Mmmmmmmm Pink Squirrel.

Your Mom Goes to Cuppa Joe

Obviously this picture was not taken in Salt Lake City. Why you ask? Well because I've only seen 2 phone booths in Salt Lake City in the 8 or so years that I've lived here. So why only 2 phone booths? Salt lake is a sizeable city with plenty of folks needing to use the phone. They have plenty of pay phones around town in those rinky-dink halfsie type enclosures. Perhaps its the sunny weather and mild winters that make the phone company say "let our patrons stand outside in the elements while they use our phones". I digress. Anyway my point was, good thing they still have full phone booths in Centralia Washington cuz the booth sure kept the rain off my head while I called my mom to ask if she really goes to Cuppa Joe.

Framing the Perfect Self Portrait

So when holding the camera and arms length away to snap that perfect self portrait, always make sure you have a fantastic background in the shot. So when improperly fram the shot and miss just how good you were looking at that very instance, at least you'll have something else in the picture for others to enjoy. This picture of me in front of Multnomah Falls next to the Columbia River in Oregon last week is a perfect example. (although in this pic, you can undoubtedly still see just how good looking I was at that exact instant in time)

Eddie Loves Babies!

Future rock n rollers of America take note. You gotta start young. Nice to see Eddie Spaghetti taking Sean under his wing at such a young age. And what better rock n roll mentor than Mr. Spaghetti?

Godfather

So as the Godfather to this child I feel that its my duty to protect her. So what does a Godfather do in a situation like this? Call in favor? Call in a hit? I'm not real sure what to do in this situation, but I feel that I should do something aside from stand idly by as the one who calls me Godfather (at least she will when she can speak the words "Godfather") takes one in the face by the neighbor kid.

Burnouts

A weekend full of burnouts...ahhhhh the smell of white-walled tires on asphalt pavement. Please note that when attending a burnout rally, you should always position yourself upwind of the hot rods. Look at all the downwind suckers! Trust me, you can still smell the white-walls burning while standing upwind.

Charlie Don't Surf

Charlie Don't Surf, but they sure do play nice songs about automobiles, snowboarding, and beaters. Nice set boys. A couple of new surf riffs and a fantastic rendition of "Bitchin Camaro". Thanks for the good times boys. Oh, and Eddie Spaghetti wasn't have bad either.

Supersuckers!

Oh, skip Friday and lets fastforward to Saturday...Going to the Loveless Car Nationals at Burts Tikki Lounge / Sears parking lot on Saturday. Local rockers "Charlie Don't Surf" will be playing around 2 pm. And who doesn't love the burnout competition? (as in tire burnout, not as in dirty hippy burnouts) Always a crowd pleaser. And to top the day off, Mr Eddie Spaghetti will be playing a free show with Jordan Shapiro on the Snowbird Plaza Deck from 5 to 7 pm. Did I mention both shows are free! What a coincidence that these shows were on the same day last year. If I haven't convinced you to go yet, perhaps this picture of me and Eddie at last year's show will. Look how happy I am with my new Supersuckers merch!

Hollywood Revisited

So it occurs to me that I may have been a bit overprotected during my big Hollywood movie shoot. The only overhead hazard appears to be the microphone. Since the overhead microphone had such a nice soft fuzzy thing covering it, the hard hat just may have been unnecessary. The safety glasses sure do look cool though, so I guess it was ok to wear those. And the orange ear plugs around my neck did add a certain bit of flair!

Balls of Steel!

Does anyone really know exactly what a 190 lb ball of aluminum foil looks and feels like? Well I do. It looks a lot like this. As for the feel, if you crumple up a piece or two of foil, it feels a lot like that except a lot bigger. If you ever find yourself in Boise Idaho, and in need of delicious pizza, I highly recommend the Flying Pie. http://www.flyingpie.com/ And if you bring some xtra foil, you to can add to Flora the Foil Ball.

Hollywood

Here I am on the set of my first big Hollywood production. The hours I spent in wardrobe and makeup pre-shoot has really given me a greater appreciation for the Hollywood lifestyle. Not to mention the countless hours spent memorizing lines (just encase the teleprompter went down). I guess the bottomless shrimp cocktails made up for it. Here seen coping my Hollywood-tude, I am truly destine for the big screen.
